After reading the graphic novel version of “Frankenstein,” the students reached the big moment when Victor Frankenstein weds his beloved Elizabeth. To celebrate, they held a wedding ceremony complete with vows, ring exchanges (ring pops for all!), refreshments, a bouquet toss, and even dancing—because what’s a wedding without the Chicken Dance? 🎶
It was such a fun and creative way to connect with the story and make the characters feel real!

Local veterans from the American Legion spoke with 8th graders during a recent social studies class at GMS!
The veterans talked about what it means to them to be a veteran, and brought in military items for the students to check out. This annual event is a highlight for both the veterans and our students each year!

AP Psychology students tested their sound localization skills and then experimented with what happens when we interfere with hearing to one ear. Our ability to locate sound is significantly disrupted! 🎧
