Mrs. Bartlett’s Little Pirates at Nelson Elementary enjoyed the latest lesson in the Healthy Minds Innovations curriculum!
They planted grass seeds in a cup with their picture on it and used kind words and actions to help them (and others) grow. They will be elated to see the grass grow to look like their hair!

Mr. Johnson's GHS Physics class recently completed vector walks! Students were given vectors and had to walk in the direction of each vector to find their final location. Then, they used a vector to describe their ending position.

Jeremy Tomczack’s high school Art 1 class started the year with a still life drawing unit. Students observed the display of still life objects & practiced their sketch form to recreate the display on paper. Next, they’ll add color to the sketches! 🏴☠️#GoGrantsburgPirates

Our 4th and 5th graders performed in their Spring Concert. There were a number of soloists from both grades selected to perform important lines in each song. Congratulations to all these fine young musicians!

To celebrate Earth Day, Miss Dahl's 3rd grade class learned about ways they can help the environment in our daily lives. To put those practices in action, students decorated reusable bags, got seeds to plant that attract pollinators, received a book, and spent the afternoon picking up trash!

GHS Celebrates Seniors at Annual Awards Night
Grantsburg High School seniors were recognized and celebrated for their academic performance, community service, and commitments for future endeavors at the annual awards ceremony this past spring.
While the order of events featured a great number of recognitions, the highlights of the ceremony included six seniors achieving a 4.0 GPA, the recognition of the scholar athletes, the presentation of military service honors cords to two students, and “Dollars for Scholars” awards. A huge thank you goes out to the Dollars for Scholars members, scholarship donors, and school staff for making this event special for the students and their families.
