Girls standing in river with fishing nets.

This spring, Grantsburg Middle School 7th and 8th graders ventured to the St. Croix River Park  with Mrs. Myers. Students spent the day fishing, examining owl pellets with a Crex Meadows educator, making sun catchers, and even learning basic survival skills.

During Mrs. Hoeft’s session, students were able to sample the river water for macroinvertebrates. It was a great day spent in nature!
