US News Best High Schools Award

Grantsburg High School continues to set itself apart in the state and region, with a number of awards and recognitions related to student achievement and growth.

This year, U.S. News and World Report analyzed academic and enrollment data for more than 18,000 public high schools in the nation. The publication named GHS to the list of America’s Best High Schools, following a string of similar recognitions dating back to 2015.

GHS has also earned the Wisconsin Advanced Placement Pacesetter award seven times since 2015. The award, which is given by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction in partnership with the Wisconsin Advanced Placement Advisory Council, recognizes schools that have provided impressive student access to AP courses and posted excellent AP exam results.

“The students and staff at GHS continue to exemplify what it means to bolster student achievement and stay focused on always improving and growing,” said Joshua Watt, Superintendent. “These awards are tremendous points of pride for our entire community. As we move forward, we will continue to seek ways to get even better at everything we do across all grade levels.”
